The sofas currently on the market are roughly divided in terms of structural process:

A. Solid wood structure - Due to the shortage of wood resources, the hardwood used for the furniture structure is more rare, and the drying treatment of hard wood requires a high technical means to connect through the raft. Therefore, the real solid wood structure of the sofa is quite expensive, and it is necessary to ask about the variety of solid wood and the technical means of the factory. Such structural sofas are quite rare.

B. Slab-wood structure ——Using cheap wood to make beams and erect supports, combined with multi-layer composite panels, the structural skeleton is made by nailing. The structure of the structure is low in cost, simple in fabrication, convenient in forming, and high in manufacturing efficiency, and is a widely used process structure.

Disadvantages: The multi-layer composite sheet has high formaldehyde content, which is easy to cause pollution and a large amount of odor. The solidity is generally deformed by moisture and has a short service life. When choosing, pay attention to shaking the sofa to check the stability of the structure, open the bottom zipper and breathe deeply to smell if there is any smell, and then sit down and feel the impulse reaction.

C. All-steel welded structure—The ordinary standard square steel pipe is welded and formed under standard test tools for anti-rust treatment. This kind of process is difficult to form, has long working hours and high technical requirements. Advantages: good structural stability, high strength, good environmental protection and long service life. There are three main types of sofa filling

A. Soft polyurethane foam (commonly known as sponge) is used for sofa-filled sponges. It is mainly divided into three categories. Conventional sponges are sponges made from conventional polyether and TDI. It is characterized by good resilience, softness and breathability. The high resilience sponge is a sponge made of active polyphosphorus and TDI, which has excellent mechanical properties and good elasticity. Large compression load, good flame resistance and good air permeability. A chaotic sponge is a kind of sponge whose internal pores are similar to natural seaweeds of different sizes. It is characterized by good elasticity and excellent cushioning properties when compressed and rebounded.

B. Down filling: Down is made of sofa padding, comfortable sitting and small deformation for long-term use. The disadvantage is slow rebound and high cost. Generally used in high-grade sofas with sponges, or suitable for cushions.

C. Artificial cotton padding: Artificial cotton padding, softness, comfortable sitting, but poor mechanical properties, small compression load, only suitable for cushions. The choice of the filling of the sofa: depending on the type of filling, there is a big difference in use.

Under normal circumstances, the cushion padding of fabric sofas should be more suitable for high resilience sponges of 30 kg/m3 or more . In the form, most of them are filled with a whole sponge. The best form is 30 kg/m3 or more. High resilience sponges and chaotic sponges combined with down or rayon overlays add comfort and longevity. When selecting, ask about the type of filler. If the filler is a sponge, you should know the density of the sponge used, use the gravity to feel the rebound effect of the cushion, and sit on the comfort of sitting feeling. Generally used sponge seat cushion, national standard 25KG/M3, international standard 35KG/M3. The structure of the bottom surface, the high-elastic snake spring structure is better than the bandage structure, and the high-quality bandage is better than the inferior bandage structure. Under the above two principles, the European high-class sofa is generally designed with a sandwich structure.
