Thieme's new ScreenClean system automatically cleans the screen during production, freeing the operator from this tedious work and allowing time for other tasks.

The ScreenClean system's cleaning unit can be mounted on the printhead guide. The detergent is contained in a solvent box, and the cross-section of the cleaning unit can be stored in the control program of the printing press. When activated, the cleaning unit will move to the correct position under the screen plate to clean the underside of the screen plate. The solvent cartridge it uses needs to match the printing width, and the movement path of the cleaning unit needs to be set up so that only the working area of ​​the screen is wetted by the cleaning agent. Thieme's Thieme 1000, 3000 and 3000 S semi-automatic and 3/4 semi-automatic screen printers are equipped with the ScreenClean system, with a maximum print width of up to 55 inches (1400 mm).
