ExxonMobil Chemical Launches New High Performance Packaging Solutions

Exceed 1012 mVLDPE

The new Exceed 1012 metallocene polypropylene can be used in flexible packaging for foods. The density is 0.912g/cm3. Low density polypropylene has extraordinary toughness and strength, and it has three times the dart impact performance of ordinary VLDPE and excellent puncture resistance. Sex, films produced with Exceed mVLDPE offer the possibility of cost reduction.

Due to its low-temperature heat sealing performance, it is possible to use less energy for heat sealing. Because of its good low-temperature impact performance, it is used in frozen food packaging. Exceed mVLDPE has the same sharpness, gloss, and low haze characteristics as regular VLDPE and can be used for food packaging display and bar code identification. The new Exceed 1012 metallocene polypropylene is available in two grades of CA (non-slip) and EA (slip) grades, so that products with different surface requirements can be met.

A sample film produced using Exceed 1012 mVLDPE can be seen on the company's booth, and at the same time, it can be seen on Matata Brampton's three-layer co-extrusion blown film machine in Hall 5 Stand M1.
