Esko-Graphics announced a three-year warranty on their violet-laser CTP systems, a major innovation in the CTP field. The violet laser CTP system has many recognized advantages, such as: low cost, long laser life cycle, and easy-to-use safe yellow light at the time of loading.
The violet laser imaging system and the corresponding printing plates adopt the best and most advanced CTP technology on the market. Esko-Graphics is a loyal user of this technology and they actively promote the use of violet laser technology by commercial and packaging printers. The FreeBeam imaging module integrates a 30 mW tunable diode laser and associated optics.
The entire system is completely controlled by the PlateDriver software, which continuously monitors the laser beam installation and imaging quality. The automatic energy calibration function ensures perfect stable imaging conditions and quality. After the FreeBeam laser was installed on the PlateDriver system, there was no need to switch any mechanical or optical components. The system was able to image violet laser silver halide plates and silver salt polyester plates. In addition, the energy level of the laser can be adjusted through a simple operation panel.
