Discussion on the Idea importing of Packaging Education and Environment Education

Abstract:The product must use packaging. The packaging is the important part of the construction of product manufacturing. The pollution to the environment is almost including into each stage of packaging cycle. The paper discusses the methodology to import environment protection in packaging education and it is very important content to be established in packaging specialty in the universities.

Commodity can not be separated from packaging, packaging is an important part of the production of goods. According to the forecast of relevant departments, by 2010, the total output value of the Iida industry will reach 450 billion yuan, the packaging products will reach 47.5 million tons, and the per capita annual consumption will reach 36.54 kilograms, but the recycled materials recycling rate and waste recycling in China Recycling and utilization are very low, and a large amount of packaging waste causes serious environmental pollution. Therefore, China, as a big producer of packaging waste, must solve packaging and environmental issues.
At present, there are 32 universities and colleges in China that have set up undergraduate majors in packaging engineering, and Zhejiang University has started a postgraduate seminar for packaging engineering. Its professional content includes packaging machinery, packaging materials, packaging containers, packaging and packaging, packaging and printing; packaging technology and technology , packaging testing, packaging circulation and management, packaging regulations, etc.; and packaging environmental protection courses are mostly elective courses. Therefore, education as a packaging discipline must be fully aware of the importance of introducing environmental education—green packaging education. From the curriculum content setting, green packaging education should be made as a main course rather than an auxiliary or elective course. Let's talk about some ideas on how to introduce environmental protection education in packaging education.

1 Green Packaging Life Cycle Analysis Education

The green packaging life cycle analysis method puts forward the requirements for green packaging from the point of view of system engineering: the packaging products shall not be responsible for the human body from the collection of raw materials, the addition of materials, the manufacture of products, the use of products, the recycling of wastes, and the life processes of final disposal. And the environment causes public hazards. Now all countries in the world are raising "pollution-free, pollution-free" packaging products. These packaging materials require the use of materials, less waste, and can save a lot of resources; waste can be recycled; when it is treated by burning or other methods The second pollution; waste can be self-decomposing, which is also a number of countries in the packaging area of ​​research, the ultimate goal is to make a small amount of packaging waste or the lowest environmental pollution. Therefore, teachers in the packaging education should explain in detail to students the green packaging materials, green packaging design, green packaging production process, packaging waste recycling and disposal and other aspects.
Green packaging materials are materials that are easily degraded, easily recycled, and can be used for effective recycling, and are non-toxic and harmless to the human body, and do not contain toxic elements or content below the relevant standards.
