Recently, Husky, the world's top provider of preform production equipment and services, cooperated with BIōTA Brands of America Inc, Cargill Dow LLC, and SIG Corpoplast to launch the world’s first corn-based fully-degradable bottle for costumes. BIōTA Premium Colorado Mineral Water.

In this cooperation, Husky provided BIōTA with preform production equipment: a 24-cavity HyPET 120 system, which is now used to produce 12-ounce, 0.5-liter, and 1-liter mineral water bottles. The most important feature of the HyPET system is its fast running speed, high mold wear resistance, high repeatability, low acetaldehyde emissions, energy saving, high input-to-output ratio, and good performance.

The Husky Preform Development Center cooperated with blow molding machine supplier SIG Corpoplast to participate in the entire design process of preforms and bottles. SIG Corpoplast offers BIōTA a BLOMAX-10, 10-cavity stretch blow molding system.
